About Me

Hey, Hola, Bonjour

I'm a person. I currently live in Sevilla (guapa!).
I like discovering and learning new things.
I like to cook, read, watch, look, listen. I like to go for drinks. I like to listen to stories. Maybe you do to! I think we'll get along just fine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Living in a foreign country means I'm often travelling to visit friends and family or just to explore new places. I've welcomed couch-surfers before with my flatmates in France and it's always nice to welcome, or be taken in by similarly open-minded people who are up for sharing a meal or a drink and perhaps a little visit around the area we happen to find ourselves in. Life's an adventure and sometimes throwing yourself into the unknown is the best thing for it.

Interests

All sorts. Going on adventures, visiting new places, playing table-tennis, playing guitar, playing scrabble. Going to the cinema, dancing to drum and bass, rapping my stories. And cooking falafels.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reggae, dub, drum and bass, hiphop.
But come on, anything can be moving and enjoyable.
L'Auberge espangole, Ratatouille, Les Intouchables.
L'Ingénu, Trainspotting, High Fidelity.

Subject to change.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Where's my trumpet???
Nothing too amazing but I volunteer from time to time.
-I've cleaned donated prams at Barnado's which later got shoplifted...
-cooked meals from salvaged food for the hungry and lonely of Liverpool
-picked litter at Glastonbury and about a million over festivals (in return to a ticket of course, so it wasn't so altruistic)
-My current gig is with an association that feeds and clothes (and just provides company, I guess) to the destitute of Rouen. I could tell you some stories about that

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some English swear words... or how to make falafels and dahl?? I've got a load of top vegan/veggierecipes up my sleeve

I can share my wine, I can probably share a story or two too. And you can practise English or French with me. It's my job!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Eh, dis-donc, je suis anglais, du coup...si vous voulez profiter de moi pour parler un peu de ma langue, je suis chaud.
Obviously I'm English, I bring my mother tongue for you to practice with! And my amazing (vegetarian) cooking skills. And as I said, perhaps a little rap if you know how to beatbox or drum on pans with a wooden spoon.
In any case, if I'm staying with you, we can go out and explore or go grab a drink. We can play a game or whatever you fancy suggesting. I'm fairly open to suggestion and certainly not afraid to try new things.
