I’m a quiet, vegetarian guy, actually tending towards vegan these days. I much prefer staying at home, walking/cycling around town, or an interesting conversation to partying.

I enjoy drawing and painting , especially people. If anyone wants to model for me, or draw with me, that would be fantastic. I like improvising quick vegetarian meals, especially spicy dishes, using what I have to hand. I very rarely drink alcohol but I’m partial to a zero-alcohol beer.

I’m gay/queer/belong to the LGBT tribe (call me what you will). So now you know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting people from different backgrounds energises me. When I travelled in my youth, various strangers helped me. Some welcomed me into their homes. I want to pass on these precious gifts.

Interests

Drawing, painting, pottery, yoga, people and cooking. I also like language. I love speaking French in particular, and of course my native English. I attend a weekly refugee/German sport evening and help some with their German or English and various other issues.

I’m happy doing ordinary things. I read a profile that listed ‘stroking a purring cat’ in this section. I wish I had thought of it first.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English and German quite well and passable French. I haven’t spoken much Dutch for a long time but I like the language, so we can share these. I’m also tried to learn a few words of Spanish whilst in Covid19 lock-down. I’m happy to share drawing with you.
