Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am intent on seeing more of the world than I have in the last 27 years of my life...shouldn't be hard
ABOUT ME
I love cycling at my own pace and seeing all kinds of things and experiencing the outdoors in ways that I couldn't just by driving. Being in nature is really fun, and as long as I am not pushing it too hard, the bike can be the most enjoyable way to experience the world. That is why I am doing a cycling tour through Europe at the moment...what better way to explore the Old World?
PHILOSOPHY
Traveling is a great way to expose oneself to new opinions and perspectives. Meeting new people is a big part of this experience, and couchsurfing is certainly one way to meet people one wouldn't normally.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now, I am just trying to get from one country to the next, but eventually I would like to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have no experience either as a host or guest as of yet, but I am on warmshowers.org and have enjoyed the hospitality of generous hosts through there.
Interests
I enjoy cycling, hiking, reading, and talking to people who have experiences that I don't have. It is really great to learn something new, and I try to keep an open mind.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love movies, though I probably waste too much of my time doing such. For music, I usually stick to rock, but I have a large collection of foreign music...knowing what they say doesn't matter so much to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have driven around the Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California...that was quite the experience! Living for two years in South Korea is probably another thing of note...the only time I've ever lived outside the US
