About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learning from everyone who is different from me. Teaching others the flow of my perspective. Sharing the underrated beauty of Reno's community. Connecting the world one good night's rest at a time. One universe. One love. <3
ABOUT ME
My name is Jon.
I am open minded, free spirited, full of random stories, and always seem to have a cup of tea in my hand. I am starting to dabble more in yoga and deeper spirituality while also learning how to live more in the present moment. I am exploring everything from new hiking trails to new perspectives.
PHILOSOPHY
Live in the now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We always seem to have friends on our couches. Sometimes it is so mates can visit from Seattle on the cheap, sometimes it is for a buddy to move to Reno from San Bernardino, and other times a cousin is visiting from England for a few months and just wants a welcoming place to get comfy. Tea is offered as soon as one removes their shoes.
Interests
I prefer to live life outside doing any and all activities. Hiking, skiing, exploring, running, frolicking, playin footy, riding my motorcycles and bicycles are just a few of the things that capture my attention. I honestly enjoy doing most things that are shared with good company.
If I ever have spare change lying around it often goes towards traveling to gigs, exploring delicious foods, splurging on some local tea, or putting petrol in the tank and riding out to some place new.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am not a huge movie buff because with the amount of time it takes to sit and watch a film I would rather be doing so many other fun activities.
Music is a constant indulgence. Always exploring new sounds from all over the world in every imaginable genre.
A few of the most influential books of recent reads are "A New Earth" and "The Omnivores Dilemma"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam in the Blue Lagoon in the snow. Been to the Peace Museum in Hiroshima. Stayed in a temple in Kyoto. Took a Greyhound across Tennessee to Virginia. Tried to surf the beaches of Ventura. Drowned in fresh powder at Lake Tahoe. Zoomed through the Sonora Pass on my old BMW.
