I am a vegetarian guy, who grew up in Valparaiso which from my point of view it is one of the most amazing places I've been. I think my city has soul, you can feel it when you live in there. There is nothing better than grow up next to the ocean and watch it from every point of the city even when I was playing football or walking to do groceries.

I like to meet people from all over the world. I have made lot of friend from many different countries. Living with my Canadian roommate I lived the couchsurfing experinece for about a year, very good memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this is the best way to discover the real things from the place I visit, local people can show you things which you will not find by yourself. When I travel, I am looking for experiences beyond going to the tourist places to get a good pic, I do it sometimes though. I have never used my couchsurfing account before, however when I was living in Canada I had a great experience through my roommate Annie who is a couchsurfing member, she really likes to host people from everywhere all the time. I had very fun meeting nice people who have many stories to tell about their trips. Also, I have received some spanish guys here in Santiago when a friend of mine was not able to receive them. And I've been guest when I traveled with my roommate to Chile. So I can not say I'm new on couchsurfing. It has always been an interesting experience.

Interests

Besides traveling of course, I like to learn about the reality of every country, I am not expert but I am always researching about it.

Also, I enjoy supporting my football team on weekends. Football is part of the southamerican culture, I can't avoid it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reggae music and rap music too, I like music with social content. Opera is somethig I am learning to listen since I went to the metropolitan opera in New York.

I watch more documentaries than movies but when I want to relax I enjoy any kind of movie, except horror movies. The Iliad is my favorite book, greek culture is something that I like since I was in the school.
