At college, I got the opportunity to study abroad in The Czech Republic for 4 months. It was eye opening. Ever since I've been addicted to traveling when I can and meeting people from anywhere and everywhere.

I'm a fiction writer, avid music lover (I go to a lot of shows!). Super into cooking and food. I teach literature, composition, and creative writing at university.

Recent history: Most recently moved to Philly. Before I was in Syracuse NY for grad school. Before that I was in Massachusetts for undergrad (I went to school late!). Before that I was in Los Angeles for 12 years doing carpentry building music studios and playing music, lots of shows. Meeting people is one of my favorite things in life. I find that every individual has such a unique spirit/energy, and being able to get to know each other, even if briefly, is a great gift. I cherish the time I spend with people as learning from them and experiencing them (selfishly) gives me energy and life. I could only hope I do the same for others by being myself and sharing what I have.

I find traveling incredibly enriching and always enlightening. To do that while incorporating different people around the world, I find, is a privilege and one I'd really like to experience.

兴趣

I used to be a musician in Los Angeles for 12 years. I really love playing music, as I find it kind of cathartic. Playing shows, or going to the show, and having fun with everybody there, dancing, playing and listening to good music.
