Hello community - my name is Jonah!
I'm 26 years old, I love nerding out about history and architecture, learning languages and am currently working for an environmental foundation, living in Venice.

I love travelling by myself, meeting people from all parts of society along the way and discovering and engaging with biodiversity wherever I go.

Currently, I am on a trip around the western Mediterranean, going from Sicily to Tunisia by boat, crossing to Algeria, before taking a boat back to Spain and taking trains back to Italy, writing on early medieval Islamic architectural innovations, and their fundamental impact on medieval Christian architecture.

I love meeting people from all over the world, showing people around places that I am familiar with and having a much more memorable experience when visiting new places by seeing the place through the eyes of a local.
