My parents rent out rooms to foreign exchange students, so I'm used to living with people of different cultures and languages. My friends and I often have people to our house and have people crash on our three couches downstairs. I grew up playing board games frequently so if that's your thing I'm always down to play some games! I try to live my life without impeding on others, and the golden rule is always and forever something to live by.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling to Europe for the first time, so I'm on here to couch surf in Paris and Berlin. In Amsterdam I'll be staying with my cousin so I'm covered there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Whew favorite music/film/etc is always a big question. In no particular order:

Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, Tool, Devin Townsend, Daft Punk, Lamb of God, Ben Folds Five, Michael Jackson, John Mayer, Mac Demarco, Gorillaz, MF Doom, Justin Timberlake, The Cure, The Beatles, Steel Panther, Pinback (they're from San Diego), 311, Mozart, Angel Vivaldi, Beethoven, Baroque Classical music in general (Schoenberg/Cage/etc were important and all, but I like tonal music for the most part), Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, basically anything that's not American Country music *gag*.

Some of my favorite clusters of movies are Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, the Marvel films, Tarantino films, and Hayao Miyazaki films. Stand alone movies: The Fifth Element, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Pineapple Express, Step Brothers, Dumb and Dumber, Bridesmaids, Aliens, Predator, other classic 80's films. I'm a total movie dork and love quoting movies constantly :D

Some of my favorite works are from these authors: J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, J.K. Rowling, John Irving, Michael Crichton.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something everyone always a big deal about is how I was an extra on the popular TV show Glee. Again, I was just an extra, so I don't think it anything crazy. The whole reason why wanted to get on was so I could geek out with Darren Criss about Harry Potter, which lo and behold actually happened.

Skydiving was a blast I'd love to do it again!

I am knowledgable about animals of all species (three years working at the San Diego Zoo as an educator), music theory and production though I'm looking to learn more, and computer science.

I enjoy learning any and all things pertaining to history, science, and arts!
