Hello there,
my name is Jonas, I'm 18 years old and I come from Germany.

I am more of an introverted guy to be honest. I just like to be alone and read a book or watch a movie. It is sometimes hard for me to motivate myself to come out of my shell. Nevertheless, if I overcome that barrier, it always turns out to be a good decision.

I love to be out and about in nature because I feel that you can enjoy the present moment the most there. Nature is a truly incredible masterpiece!

In my free time I like to do sports like tennis and climbing or just read a book or watch a show. I try to be as present as possible during my day because life happens in the now. Meditating helps me to do that subconciously.

Currently, I'm on a trip through Europe with two good friends of mine:

Starting from Germany, our planned destinations are Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and last but certainly not least Norway.

Music, Movies, and Books

Concerning music, I mostly listen to EDM (Electronic Dance Music). Genres I like specifically are Dubstep, Big Room and Riddim. While this is pretty hard stuff compared to the average music taste, I also like normal music like Hip Hop or Rock. Video game music for example from Kerby or Super Meat Boy are really nice either in my opinion.

Currently, most books I read are for self-development. My favourite ones are: Way of the Peaceful Warrior and The Power of the Now.
In my childhood, I read tons of novels like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Artemis Fowl and The Hunger Games.

Most of my favourite movies are action-based. Examples are: Star Wars, Inception and most of the Marvel movies. Lately, I found interest in shows like Game of Thrones (really sick, except season 8), Money Heist and 13 Reasons Why.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In summer 2018, I went two weeks to Sweden with a youth organisation. We built a raft by ourselves and flowed 100km down a river on it. At night, we fixed our raft on the riverside and slept either on the raft or in the open air. It was a really awesome experience, because we were out and about in nature. We even heard wolves howling.
