About Me
First of all I would like to say that I love the idea of couch surfing, and kind of hate the idea of presenting myself in this way. I think it is close to impossible to describe someone with words and especially describing yourself truthfully and objective. What is objective anyway..? ;)
Having that said.. who the fuck am I?
I think I’m kind of carrying, and I like to fix things which I suppose has showed itself in some kind of way in my choice of career so far. Starting out in my teenage years as a carpenter's apprentice I’d continued as an IT-consultant for a while and then for the last couple of years up until now I’ve been working as a registered nurse specialized in addiction care. All about fixing things i suppose, and its been a lot more fun in fixing things of the living then fixing mute, dead things even if it could be a lot easier sometimes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Keeping it straight with you, initially I joined Couchsurfing because of a trip through Central- and North America which was on a pretty tight budget and I really needed a way to cut costs.
Most of the way I went by myself on a motorbike and it was the greatest trips so far in my life, and Couchsurfing was definitely one of the reasons to it. Meeting so many great people along the way sharing their home and life with made it unforgettable and took me to places i otherwise would never experience.
Now I would very much like to the same for fellow couchsurfers and hopefully contribute to make their trip as unforgettable.
Interests
Most of all I love to talk with people, discuss history, culture, politics or life in general, over a cup of tea, coffee, beer or glass of wine. I think I’m pretty curious about the way of “things", and why “things" ended up as they did in one part of the world and in totally different way somewhere else.
I also like to spend my time with riding my motorbike a late summer day, riding my mountain bike down steep hills, climbing up steep cliffs, watching a movie, reading a book or just some casual hanging out with new and old friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
A band that never left my playlist for the last couple of years is the Swedish hip-hop band “Looptroop". With beautiful lyrics about life and society they tend to always have a song that suits the moment. Why don’t you have taste; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YziA5yCeSTg
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done and what I think of as the best choice so far in life is to become a Registered nurse. Meeting people when they are in a very vulnerable stage of there life have teached me a lot of human nature in general as well as about myself, and its kind of a privilege. Also working in a field with a majority of women have broadened my perspective and made me a wiser feminist.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A curious ear, and a head full of stories with a mouth maybe a bit to found of sharing them. Also I could treat your minor wounds and illnesses, or teach you the works around addiction and how to treat it.
