Hey! I'm Jonas. I'm a 19-year old German student, living in a small town south of Munich, Bavaria. There's a lake, green meadows, forests and mountains around my home, just like you would see them on a post card. Also I live close to Herrenchiemsee Castle, one of the many castles of Kind Louis II of Bavaria! I have lived there my entire life and I really enjoy it, you should definitely travel to Bavaria if you have time!
Right now, I'm traveling through Argentina with my girlfriend Paula. She is also 19 and lives close to my town. We decided to go on a backpacking trip through Patagonia, seeing the famous Monte Fitz Roy and all the Glaciers. We will conclude our journey by going to New York City, which has been a dream of ours for ages!
We are both very open-minded, creative people. Paula's passion is drawing and painting, and I like photography and videography a lot. We also share our interest for music and we spend a lot of time listening and talking about it. We also have a sense of humor and we try not to take life too seriously.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Because it seems like both a cheap and interesting way to get around in a foreign country. I like that it's more personal than other types of travelling. The aspect of getting to know a place from a local's perspective is very appealing to me, as well as the fact that you have the chance of seeing an actual neighborhood, rather than a hotel-mile.

Música, películas y libros

I'm not a huge reader, but I love movies and I spend a lot of time watching them. One of my favorites is Forrest Gump. I also like The Danish Girl and the Jason Bourne series, just to name a few.
Music-wise I'm open to almost everything. Right now I listen to a lot of classic and hard rock (among them Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Green Day, ...) and I love 60s music (Otis Redding, Beach Boys, Simon & Garfunkel, ...). I've had my Hip-Hop and Electro phases too, though, and from time to time I enjoy some Eminem or JayZ.

I can teach you a lot about cameras and how they work, and how to make good photos!
I love learning even more about the subject of image-composition and cinematography, and I enjoy learning languages too! Because of my current journey, I'm forced to learn more Spanish, and when I'm home I want to get deeper into French (which I learned for 4 years in school) again, too.
Sharing-wise I think you can have a decent conversation about anything with me, and I you're interested, I'll share some of my photos with you ;)
