My name is Jonas Martin. I'm from Denmark but I'm currently traveling around in the US. I'm very open minded and love to experience new and exciting cultures. I studied English, Social Sciences and Business Economics in Denmark and Internet and Social Media Marketing at SBCC in 2015. In my sparetime I work with start-up companies to help them improve their online presence with Wordpress webdesign and online advertisement.

I wan't to spend more time in beautiful Santa Barbara. I'm also very interested in meeting new people with different backgrounds and experiences. I love to listen and learn something new.

Interests

I used to DJ for some time, and i still love music. I'm also fairly interested in photography. I'm always working on different projects and I try to stay productive most days. It doesn't matter much to if it's work, school, creative projects or even just interesting experiences. I just like to feel like i have done something great with my day, everyday.
I also love good food and wine, and some of my best travel experiences has been at interesting restaurants around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is just so much great music. On a quiet night by the fire i love to listen to Norah Jones or John Mayer. I also enjoy listening to music by interesting DJ's like Avicii. My favorite movie is The Wolf of Wallstreet and I'm also quite a big Harry Potter fan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Santa Barbara in August without knowing anyone here. That was definitely one of the scariest, but also one of the best, things I have done with my life so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn more about California and the US in general from an American perspective. I'd love to talk about almost anything, and hopefully I'm able to teach you something new.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have traveled quite a bit in Europe and can share from my experience there. I have also spent 4 months near Seattle, Washington as a Ski Instructor, so i have some experience with skiing in the US, Canada and Europe that i would love to share. If it has any interest i can also share my experience with Web design and Internet Marketing.
