About Me

Hello there!

Me name is Jonas and I am very happy that you for some reason are checking out my profile!

In my life I have tended to play a lot of music - and I've studied it for most of my life. I play double bass in both improvised and classical contexts as well as composing.
I am very fascinated with alternative health, cooking, learning languages, barefoot-running, kung-fu and meditation.

To explore and play around in the world with enthusiasm is central to me and that's why I'm travelling. Another important aspect of travelling for me is learning to trust life - that we are in some sense guided and given everything we need in any given situation.

I'm usually a kind of busy and enthusiastic person - but I still like to have my personal space and to be still and introspective from time to time.

I hope our ways cross - hopefully soon!

All the best,
Jonas

Music, Movies, and Books

Music at the moment: Chamber music, energetic rock and classical music, both old and contemporary!

Movies: Deep contemplative/spiritual, Surreal/psychological and/or more or less romantic feel-good-movies!

Books: I tend to like practical books of guidance in real life - anything from music, to running or more deep philosophical topics. Haruki Murakami is a long time favourite as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling through Germany and France the summer of 2017. The journey was more or less completely un-planned which lead me to many fascinating places, people and funny synchronicities - and I would consider it one of the most beautiful times in my life!

Otherwise many of the smaller everyday-things that maybe don't sound so grand can sometimes be the most fascinating and amazing ones.

Teach, Learn, Share

I practice yoga and kung-fu and I also have a lot of knowledge in cooking and music - all of which I'd love to share. I also love to learn languages and I'd be more than happy to practice with and help you practice too! Otherwise my most natural thing to share is enthusiasm and a natural spark of the awesomeness of so many things in life!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking, talking, laughing, playing, jamming, knowledge-exchange, contemplation, childish enthusiasm and also silence.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, England, France, Germany, Norway, Scotland, Spain
