Originally I'm from Munich in Germany but I spend much time in other cities and other countries. I like travelling to different countries and continents to have a good time but also in order to broaden my horizon and to get an idea how other people live and what matters to them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way to get in touch with people who share the same interests like I do. Also, it helps to get to know new cities much faster because I can rely on other persons who already know their way around and might have some special places to share. Also, it is a very different experience to stay with locals than to hang out with other tourists or travellers. At the same time I'm happy to help people who come to my place.

Currently listening to: Radical Face, John Butler Trio
Reading: Last book I read was from Albanian writer Ismail Kadare. Generally, I like dystopic books like the classics by George Orwell or Aldous Huxley but also modern authors, e.g. Boualem Sansal's 2048 or German author Juli Zeh's Corpus Delicti. Apart from that I like history books as I hold a bachelor's degree in history.
