I live in the rainforest with my family minutes from the great barrier reef :) need i say more! if you like very quiet then bingil bay is the place. With only one little cafe/bar/shop in the area you quickly get chatting with the locals.
Warning!!! anyone staying with me must be prepared for, praying mantises, stick insects, lizards, spiders, snakes, cassowaries, sharks (not in the house) crocodiles also not in the house but everything else is a possibility as I do have a few huntsmen spiders in my bedroom but they don't always stay in the room.
