Overview
About Me
I'm a somewhat reserved, but talkative Swiss student. I can be chaotic at home, but am more tidy on the road. I studied Japanese Studies until this year, but changed to become an elementary school teacher. I lived in Tokyo for a year.
Interests
Everything geeky, Fantasy literature, games, movies, Magic the Gathering, Warhammer, Manga and Anime. I also really like heated talks about philosophical topics, or Japanese and Swiss politics, sociology and economics.

Music, Movies, and Books
Hayao Miyazaki's movies, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, etc.
Fantasy literature of any level, I read anything Fantasy if I have time.
Game of Thrones, Dexter, Rick and Morty.
Tons of Manga and Anime from a few years ago, though I'm not too up to date any more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking through most of Japan, from Tokyo through Niigata to Hiroshima. The Japanese don't really hitchhike, so they were a bit confused, but incredibly nice.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak acceptable Japanese and fluent German, and am always willing to teach a few words(or more). I love learning about hidden spots at the place I'm visiting. I'm also curious about geeky meeting places, I can't quite surpress it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Interesting experiences I've had in Japan, knowledge about Japanese culture, language and society from studying it at the university and experiencing it first hand.
Countries I’ve Visited
France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Tunisia, United Kingdom
Countries I’ve Lived In
Japan, Switzerland
