I'm Jonas and a very open minded person and like to get to know other people. I am very open to new ideas and perspectives since I lived in Venezuela 🇻🇪 for a year when I was 16. Since then I am bitten by the travel bug and went exploring. From countries like Georgia and Azerbaijan over hiking Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania I am always open for new adventures.

After my bachelor studies in IT and a product management internship in Silicon Valley as well as working as a PM in a AI startup in Germany, I am now in Japan 🇯🇵 (learning Japanese and doing an internship for 1,5 years)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

In the first place because friends recommended doing so. I want to travel the right way. I want to get to know the people who live in their country to experience their culture and food. I also like to have company and talk to people about their way and sense of living. With sixteen I lived for one year in Venezuela with a host family. I experienced how different and at the same time how equal people can be. This really fascinated me and got me curious. The most important lesson I learned there: You can't judge anything unless you have tried it out or experienced it
