About Me

I'm back in Paris after being away for almost three years. I haven't got everything sorted out yet so I can't really host, but I've got lots of free time and would be happy to meet people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered couchsurfing through some friends a while ago now. Never having my own place meant it was a bit complicated to host people and I haven't participated much in the community yet. But the few interactions I've had with couchsurfers were really nice and I'd love to get more involved.

Interests

Traveling is one of my main interests. I've visited/lived in a few places already and next ones on my list would be South America and Africa. I'm currently living in Paris looking for some work and meeting people who are travelling or who share this interest would be great.

Otherwise, I like all sorts of outdoors activities. I go climbing several times a week and love skiing in the winter. I'd like to get into mountaineering when I get a chance.

I love Paris for all the activities that are easily available : movies, exhibits, concerts, shows etc ...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Folk, Jazz, Rock. A few favorite artists : Fela, John Butler Trio, Bonobo, Laura Marling

Books: I love books, and reading them. I'm obsessed with the fact that if you only read one book a month for the next ten years, that'll only be 120 books. I need to read way more than that. I read mostly fiction. David Foster Wallace is my all time favorite author. I've also recently started reading some philosophy essays.

Movies: I watch all kinds

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's a tough one ...

Teach, Learn, Share

Hum, I'd love to learn some new stuff, that's for sure. I can teach you how to do a handstand.

I can probably share a few good tips about Paris, although I've just come back so be tolerant if they're a bit outdated ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A bit of home-made food, some great book discussions / recommendations. Some amazing music to listen to.

Definitely a drink, or quite a few. And some conversation to go with.

Countries I’ve Visited
