About Me

Note: I try not to plan things too far in advance, so if you send me a request far in advance I will probably tell you to come back later if you still need a couch. Far can vary from a week to just a couple of days.

What about me? I don't know who I am. But I accept it. I realize that I'll never know. As long as I'm happy, it doesn't matter.

Two things that do help to "define me", in some ways: I'm a left-handed and mostly introvert. I have an analytical mindset and I'm no expert on small talk. I also don't eat dead (or living) beings. I do however accept people that do.

"In the end, it's not about you. But what did you do? Who do you love? Besides you, beside you."
-Matisyahu

Don't waste your time, our must precious thing, in a pursuit of things other people tell you that you need.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had some amazing experiences on CS. I've had around 100 people staying at my place, and while others focus on the "sharing your home with so many people"; I'd like to say that it has been more an experience of sharing stories and experiences. I've met some amazing people that I would never have met, had I not been on CS.

Interests

I enjoy a lot of things, and in the case I wouldn't enjoy it, I'd skip it. Politics, animals & social work are some of the things I spend my time with. Money can get you freedom - but too many of us use it to buy status instead.

Music, Movies, and Books

Thich Nhat Hanh, Jon Kabat-Zinn and Eckhart Tolle are all people which has inspired me with their writings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Smiling for no apparent reason.

Teach, Learn, Share

Your house is not a home. It's just a roof and some walls. If you can't share a house with strangers, could you ever share something special with them?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't travel even close to enough - but when I do I'd love to share some of my couchsurfing experiences as a host.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Norway, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
