ABOUT ME

I'm 27, just finished my residency in Chapel Hill, NC and I'm now working in Lincoln, ME and living in Bangor, ME. Maine is one of the most beautiful places I've been, especially in the summer time. I grew up in Ballston Spa, NY (outside of Saratoga Springs) and did my undergrad in Boston. I lived in Buffalo for 4 years which was fun, but lacked a bit of sunlight. I Love music, hangin' out, playing sports, grilling, jamming, painting, really up for anything these days.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel like the trick to life is variety, never to fall into monotony and say yes to opportunities that come along.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to meet all sorts of new people. I've been traveling a lot lately and this seems like a great way to find out more of the cool local places to hit when going from place to place and of course to meet lots of great people who are traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a number of couch surfing experiences both hosting and surfing and I think the whole project is a brilliant idea. I'll always be supporting it in one way or another.

I'm very much into music. I play all sorts of instruments, try to do some writing, and love all kinds of music. I'm also really into all kinds of art, I paint and draw myself, but can appreciate all things of creativity.

Watching movies is one of my favorite things to do, it's hard to list my favorites, but the first one that comes to mind that I saw again recently is "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", "The Village". Music is even harder...some stuff I've listened to in the last couple of days...Sigur Ros, Elvis Perkins, Ray Lamontagne, Ryan Adams, Damien Rice, Andrew Bird, Van Morrison, Bon Iver, Mumford & Sons...tons more...

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Provided free dental care for a small community in Tampico, Mexico where a group of us were able to treat over 500 patients.

Got to tour around western Europe last summer and see some of amazing stuff.
