I'm an Italian/dutch who grew up in Milan. I studied in Scotland, Chile and recently worked for a while in Brussels before prematurely quitting my job. As many others, I am currently trying to figure out what to do next, and in the mean time visit some special places that interest me and combine traveling with my other great passion: climbing and mountains.
So, during this trip I would like to meet new people, hear their stories and be inspired by them, while at the same time take all the opportunities to go climbing - so get in touch if you're a climber and would like to touch some rocks. Other interests I have are cooking (love cooking!), history, politics and in general learning new things and listening to people's stories and opinions. I consider myself open-minded, sociable although a bit shy at times.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

To live in-loco true experiences. I want to couchsurf as I hope to get to know new friends from all over the world, while learning many things from each other. One of the great limitations I have often felt with travelling, is that of feeling "out of place", separated from the local culture. With Couchsurfing I hope to gap this, while being able to offer my world view, skills and experiences to those who are open to receive them.

Interessen

My interests vary a lot. In reading, I like philosophy, fantasy and foreign language literature. I am a quite sporty type, and while traveling I adore hiking and enjoying nature, hiking and climbing. I enjoy cooking together or sharing a cup of tea/coffee and speak about anything that comes to mind.
