Overview
About Me
Recently finished my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and started traveling. I'm currently living in Israel on a MASA program for 5 months. I Started with some post-bachelor's research on an Infectious fungous for The Sackler School of Medicine.
I didn't feel I was learning enough and I didn't feel engaged or passionate (The research was a lot of repetition with slight changes) so I switched! Now I have three jobs working in development for a creative non-profit (Batsheva Dance Company- https://batsheva.co.il/en/home), production for a cultural arts center (Suzanne Dellal- https://www.suzannedellal.org.il/en) and education for a refugee center(ARDC- https://www.ardc-israel.org/).
For my hobbies, I like to go to Yoga and Gaga Classes (Israeli Contemporary dance that focuses on somatic awareness and groove). I also dance Israeli folk dance on the beach every Saturday and have joined Shlomo Maman's company. I also have been attending a lot of dance shows at Suzanne Dellal!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While here in Israel my roommate reconnected with a friend from CS. She was an incredible person and I was so lucky to get a chance to meet such a beautiful soul. We stayed up until the early morning talking and sharing. CS allows you to connect to wonderful people you might not typically meet.
Love to travel and meet people, some of my favorite nights have been sharing conversation with friends around a table.
I'd rather be a traveler than a tourist. Experiencing the culture/people of a place is just as import as the local attractions.
Like they say variety is the spice of life. I'm happy to help others. Rather not pay for a hotel when I am content on a couch.

I listen to a lot of Tinydesk, I can enjoy almost any music. It depends on my mood but I love music I can dance to. Favorite book is Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.
