About Me

Hablo español, pero escribo todo en inglés porque es el idioma que más gente usa en Couchsurfing. Si no entiendes algo nada más mándame mensaje y listo.

I study Biotechnology Engineering at Tec de Monterrey, one of Mexico's best universities (not bragging about it, tho). I studied abroad in South Korea last semester and currently I'm in Spain, coming back to Mexico by the end of the summer.

I hadn't been anywhere outside my continent until last semester; a life-changing experience as getting to know a completely different culture and getting truly involved with it was one of the biggest highlights of my life. I had an amazing time there and I managed to do some exploring through South Korea and Japan. Absolutely amazing countries!

I enjoy the small things such as looking at the local currency, the labels of different products at other countries' supermarkets, the way the streets are arranged, the licence plates' design, how same brands have a different name, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Many friends of mine have told me stories about their couchsurfing experience: how they met incredible people who helped them getting to know the city, good friendships they made, the amazing time they had with their hosts and many more, which made me wonder a lot about this and look forward to live it by myself. It's better to see something once, than to hear about it a thousand times.

Trips aren't cheap, that's why I'd be glad helping someone with accomodation so they rather spend that money in something else. On the same note, it'd be awesome if someone did the same for me.

I am making a lifetime jouney as it's my first time in Europe and I'm looking forward to visit as many places as I can. I am moving from Spain to Italy on a round-trip across France, Netherlands, UK, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Hungary and finally Italy, from where I'll come back to Spain and take my flight back to Mexico.

As I have 5 weeks to visit 18 cities I wanna make this trip something unforgettable. I would really love to meet some nice hosts on the go and share some stories, get to know better the area I'm passing through and make new friendships.

About couchsurfing experience: I have hosted some people and it was pretty cool! I'm looking forward to live the guest experience during my traveling adventure (:

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't enjoy metal, besides that I'm fine listening to a variety of genres. I like rock, pop, indie, acoustic songs, and many more genres.
My favorite bands include The Maine, Modern Baseball, along with many others.

My favourite author is Oscar Wilde. My favorite book may be The Catcher in the Rye even though some people consider this one as a cliche.

My favorite movie sagas are Star Wars, Harry Potter and Rocky. Favorite movies pff a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm planning to do a 5-week low-budget travel across Europe. 18 cities, 8 countries, 5 weeks.

If I make it as I plan to, I'm definitely writing it down here.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not pretty sure about what to write on this one. I can teach you Spanish, English, or how to cook the world's best hot dogs.

What I Can Share with Hosts

There's a lot two people can share while living under the same roof even if it's only for a night. Stories, ideas, experiences, knowledge, music, movies, books, series, tips, swear words in their language, you name it. I can teach you spanish swear words, tell you stories about my korean experience or cook for you the world's best hot dogs.

I think that every time you get to know someone you have the opportunity of discovering a whole new perspective on things and a whole lifetime of experiences through that person.
