Overview
About Me
I'm a documentary filmmaker ("Commune," "My Friend Paul," "The Shvitz," and most recently "Calling All Earthlings.") and I'm a professor of film and video.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Primarily here to meet cool people in the places I visit rather than for a place to stay. The best parts of travel are meeting and hanging with locals and travelers from other countries. If you come to Los Angeles I can show you some great "secret" and just fantastic places near "Hollywood." :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Hmm all over the map. Early R&B, James Brown, Motown, Jimi Hendrix, MGMT, and a million more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At 15 years old I was a carnival worker who traveled around New York State. What a crazy education...
Teach, Learn, Share
To be happy: practice gratitude, giving, hanging w friends and family and forgiveness.
Life is how you/we create it in each moment, so let's make it fun and enlightening.
Don't eat stuff from boxes or packages, buy your food from farmers..
Be nice to waiters and waitresses.
Treat your body well.
Forgive yourself and others
For touring: walking- too slow. Car - too fast. Bike- just right. :)
