I'm Jonathan and I'm 20 years of age.
I have finished school in Germany and then worked a while to save some money for travelling. Now I am finally travelling ✌

My route so far (August 2019):
- hitchhiked from Germany to Gibraltar
- sailed from Gibraltar to the Canarys
- spent one month on different canary islands
- sailed from the canarys to kape verdes, then saint Lucia and finally Panama
- spent one month in Panama
- three months in Colombia
- one month in Ecuador.
- took a lot of boats down the Amazonian river from Ecuador through Peru to Brazil
- now I'm in Belen in Brazil, planning to go south on the coast and then to the other south American countries

While travelling I like to go slow, stay with locals and avoid flying for ecological reasons.

I love to be outdoors and do outdoor activities.
My most loved Hobby is sailing. Either on small boats (dingys) or big boats (yachts). Racing or just going relaxed over the seas.
Besides that I also enjoy cycling, hiking, climbing and everything else that happens in the outdoors.
While travelling I learned to surf. Although I'm still quite shitty at it, I love to get out in the waves.
I am very interested in science, and technical stuff, for example I built my own drone, and a lot of other stuff.

When I'm Outdoor i like to document my experiences to share them with others. That’s why I have a website and a YouTube-Channel you can check out (although they are in German and I haven't uploaded anything in the last six months 😛 ).

I like a lot of different music, as long it's not what you call in German "Schlager".
I don't like movies that much, because I often find them often boring, and I prefer being in real life ;-)
Nevertheless there are some movies I like. For example check out "Chasing Bubbles" on YouTube.

I love to teach and learn as much as possible.
I'm quite good in physics so I certainly could answer some questions there.
Besides that I can teach you some photography or how to sail over the Atlantic 😂

I think I'm a funny and really easy going person. I love to hang around people and have a good mood.
Since I'm already going for a while now, I can share a few stories about my travels...
Off course I can cook something (or at least try to 😂) or help you with anything you wish.
