I have a B.S. in Environmental Science and over 8 years of applied experience in ecology as well as years of geographical information science. Through my work in the field, I have gained experience in, ground up, ecological studies. These range from wildlife, fisheries, water, soils, mycorrhizal and botanical sampling to remotely sensed landscape interpretation and database management. I have grown this knowledge through my academic experience and many employment opportunities since. I am an avid outdoorsman and naturalist.

I’m what some call a Bio-stitute. I work seasonal gigs doing plant ecology, fisheries, forest restoration, etc.… with the Forest Service, Park Service, Universities anyone really that is offering an amazing experience in a fantastic landscape. I’m about to hit the road again this autumn and do not know where I’ll end up. I just met up with a couple great Aussie birds in Missoula traveling the country and figured I would follow suit and let the wind take me. I get done with my gig here at the end of Oct and then am heading west!
