About Me

Hola amigos! I am Jonathan, an enthusiastic and vibrant frequent traveller coming from accounting backgrounds and I love to socialize around with new people. Having flexible working hours, I am able to devote my time to learning new things through exploring new places during the weekends and reading some references and articles. Learning to be grateful is essential and that's why I have to interact more and connect with the nature and inhabitants.

Currently, I am taking on new challenges of learning a couple of new languages at once and hopefully I am able to achieve 80% of what I have forecast. It's a challenging deal as I do not attend classes. However, with the help of Google and hopefully Couchsurfing to be next, I transcend national boundaries and open myself to new door of opportunities.

Being a Gen Y should mean that I am easy-going with people from all strata and ages and hope to see you soon as and when the time meets! I am sure you won't regret knowing one more person like me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hi everybody. Just like everyone's wishes to explore the world, I have my own agenda of visiting the world by piecemeal and stay tuned for my step-by-step travel itineraries, your city may be my next target!

To make it an adventurous one, I would love to minimize my travel budget and get on foot most of the time, whether it's 5/10 km per day it doesn't really matter because what counts the most is the extent of observation and acceptance that you may embrace in every single new city.

Also, I have intended to master 5-6 languages by the age of 30. Thus, it would be a plus if I have the locals to communicate with me in their mother tongue and in the event of language barriers, I believe my cheerful disposition would overcome any gaps in communication.

Interests

I love to drink Mocha, although I don't drink it often.

I enjoy lots of street food because they come at pretty low prices.

I spend considerable amount of time working out in the gymnasium and I wonder if I get to explore public parks overseas like Lumphini Park (where they placed equipment in the middle of the park and it comes for free, gosh!!).

I get fascinated by reading articles and watching horror/thriller movies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Too many to list out, but to name a few they would have to be: Nicky Jam, Joey Montana, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, Ricky Martin, Luan Santana, Lucas Lucco etc etc

Movies - Women in Black 2, Sinister 2, Insidious 2, Phobia 2, Ghost Coin, Make Me Shudder, etc etc

Books - Seven habits of highly effective teens

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To learn how to perform a full front split by the age of 17 from cheerleading! (picking it up since 17 too!).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do not know how to cook, but I am able to offer advice on good ingredients as a gourmet for all kinds of cuisines, or probably add on to the list of desserts one has to offer.

I am quite exaggerating when it comes to playing games (PS4/PC games/Nintendo), as I often appear over excited and I am pretty sure you are never tired of my new jokes again and again.

Speaking in different languages does have its limitations too! I am able to entertain you with my thick or light accent.

I am not a designer, but I am always there to offer advice on the mix of colors and layout re-design for a firm dreamhouse concept.

I will definitely bring a souvenir from my home country (mainly cookies or other portable candy) to reward your kind act to be my host.
