About Me

Hey there! I recently finished up university at UC Santa Barbara and am currently working in the San Francisco Bay Area. Outside of work, one of my favorite things to do is to cook up a large meal, invite a couple friends over, and just have a good time. Travelling is also up there on my list of passions and I take every opportunity to try new foods and poach recipes (with consent, of course) from the people I meet abroad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just looking to meet new friends from around the world to learn from and share our mutual life experiences!

And if I'm completely honest, also so I can afford to travel. I'm working, not wealthy ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge fan of early to mid-2000's indie rock/pop (i.e. Young the Giant, Two Door Cinema Club, etc.) in addition to hip-hop (e.g. Brockhampton, Kendrick Lamar, etc.)

I'll read most anything you give me, as long as I can understand the language though I will say that I have a special interest in sci-fi (huge Ender's Game fan). Same goes for watching movies, but the language requirement kind of goes out the window for that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Honestly, the sheer amount of luck I've had to be able to visit as many countries as I have is amazing enough to me.

But if you want something a little juicer, I'm happy to converse a bit and share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I try to be as interactive as possible with people doing me the huge favor of putting me up. However, I also completely understand if people would rather keep on the quiet side. In any case, I just try to accommodate as much as possible in respect to my host in every way possible.

Oh, if you have a kitchen, I would most definitely like to cook with you!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
