Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm totaly new to couchsurfing. A friend of mine, a very active member, talked me about it and I think it's a great way to discover people of a new place. I'm actually in the west coast of USA and I would like to met people from here and share a good moment with them. I think we have all something to learn from others :)

Interests

I grew in the french alpes so I love mountain sports and I go often climbing, hiking or skiing with my friends.
I'm also fascinating by the nature and the animal kingdom, especially birds. I like to spend time in nature, alone or with some friends, to discover the wonders of our environnement and get peacefull vibes.
And when I'm not outside, I like to watch good movies, read good books and talk about it. And I also enjoy cooking for my friends and family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mmh so.. I was with three friends and we were climbing a summit. We also planned to sleep at the top. However dark clouds arrived so we went to a little cave to pass the night. And.. we were waked up the morning by a big thunderstorm right in front of us!! It was frightening and fascinating to feel so small in front of the strenght of the elements. Hopfully everybody was safe. :) I can't forget this strong moment and it remind me how we have to be humble in face of the nature.
