Professional engineer looking for more in life than working my ass off to live "comfortably" once I retired. I love to travel and meet new people, unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to travel as much as I would like ='( But that changes this year! Who knew you can meet complete strangers and save a little money as well?!

Started reading travel blogs on how to travel more often and many recommended couchsurfing. I must admit, I'm a bit nervous about staying at a stranger's place but at the same time it is so freaking exciting!! What better way to see the city than through the eyes of a local?

The outdoors! Mostly anything that requires me to be out and about, walking, running, climbing trees, etc. I truly enjoy discovering new experiences, strange foods, and definitely love meeting new people. I do drink socially but no smoking and no drugs for me =). Sightseeing! Love to see everything that I've grown up reading about.

I didn't believe you could see the Milky Way from the Earth so I spend the night on top of Mt. Haleakala in Maui and got my breath taken away =)
