I'm a Belgian who studied biology. I love nature and wildlife in general. Therefore I love hiking in remote areas by myself and just meet wild animals and plants to add to my pokedex on the way 🦌🐦🦊🐬🐉🦖 I'm quite shy so I like to spend a lot of time by myself but that makes the moments I share with other people even more special to me 😃
I love learning new things and I'm curious about everything. Can be sometimes quite frustrating because when I have an answer I get even more questions 😄
I'm a real foodie, I love eating and I think I would be fat by now without a good physiology and sport 😅 I love to discover new types of food, and I love to cook by myself, makes everything taste better !
Always keen to do activities especially when I'm travelling. I like to open my mind by learning new cultures and talk to people about their life experiences and interesting stories ! 😃
I used warmshowers a lot when I was cycling through New Zealand. That was a great experience where I could meet with real locals that I might not have met otherwise 😁 Now I'm back on my feet and so I'm trying Couchsurfing. Everybody that hosted me was so nice and welcoming, I'm definitely planning on giving it back when I come back home !

Like I said, I love to learn new things and I feel that learning is easier with someone from the area that spent a lot of time there. Couchsurfing seems to host a lot people that traveled a lot with open minds so I think that makes for rich moments to share and memories !

Intereses

I love being in nature. That may be one of the reasons I studied biology 🤔 I love learning, discover new things and the challenge of physical activities. That's why I love hiking, I usually like to do it by myself because I feel like I can really see more like this. But I also like to hike with other people, sharing the moment seems sometimes better than just living it.
I really like all kind of sports, I mostly did judo when I was younger but I now try more and more different sports, really into rock climbing and bouldering at the moment 🥰🧗I believe that all wars should be ended by replacing it with sport competitions, that would be way more fun and less deadly 🤓
I always carry my big camera with me to take pictures of animals on the go. Got loads of pictures of birds, mammals and insects. Never enough ! 😄
I love food ! I've been eating mostly Asian food back home but I like all kinds of food as long as it's tasty 😋 I really enjoy cooking as it makes everything taste better and it's so rewarding and fun 👨‍🍳
I'm quite a shy person so I like to be by myself but I always enjoy sharing moments with others from time to time ! A good balance between both is quite important.

I mostly listen to rock, hard rock and metal music. I need my music to be quite energetic. But I also listen to a lot of different types of music depending on my mood and the time of day. So I'm quite eclectic even if I tend to flee away from the mainstream music 😅
I love to read, I wish I could do it more, it's definitely on my to do list. I mainly read fiction, love fantasy but always keen to try other types of books.
I used to watch a lot of movies, but don't do it that much these days. When I'm not traveling I tend to prefer playing a good story telling video game than watching a movie 🍿🎮
But still Interested in a lot of movies, I'm open to any style as long as it's not too boring 😄

I've been travelling through New Zealand with my pushbike for a year on a working holiday visa. An amazing experience, loved it, lots of great encounters, beautiful landscapes. Sometimes too many hills 🤣

I don't know if I feel knowledgeable enough to think that I can teach things to people. But I like to learn things about all subjects and always try to fight my laziness by learning from others. I'm terrible at learning things by myself 😄 Always nice to enter healthy debates about life or anything as long as it's constructive and open minded 😃

I would love to share stories of past adventures. I feel like activities by yourself and together are completely different and both worth a lot. I'm keen on doing sport activities as well as going for a drink or just visit a city to discover its hidden spots. I'm thriving more in small groups of people, might not be the kind of guy that likes to go to clubs all the time. But I really like more intimate activities like board games, drinks, sharing passions and stories...
