About Me

I am Jonathan, most of my friends call me Jonny :-) I have been living 2 years in Madrid and am now moving back to Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about a network called Couchsurfing a few years ago. They said you get to know locals and you get completely different impressions of a place than a tourist. I really liked the idea of being in a new town but to see it through the eyes of a person who knows the really interesting places

Interests

I like to spend time with my family and my friends, to watch the Bundesliga (soccer) on the weekend. I like to eat pasta and drink a bit of whine, I like watching a good movie with friends or just alone, I like to get drunk and have fun with my friends and I like listening to music which fits to my mood

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Kanye West and his music, black music in general, but on the other hand the Soundtrack of Buena Vista Social Club was one of the best things I've ever heard. I have no special type of music, sometimes listening to Taylor Swift with my little sister is just the right thing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing trip from Cologne to Paris with one of my best friends on bikes, vacation with 5 other friends in Malgrat de Mar in Spain, a trip through Europe for 21 days with an Interrail ticket, hiking with my dad and my sister on Tenerife, living with friends in Vigo, Spain just for 10 days and speaking spanish all day

What I Can Share with Hosts

That is a good question! I would say show them the ''german way of live'' (whether it exists or not), proof a and rebut a few clichés about germans, drink good beer, show them the biggest city around (Köln) and this with a lot of joy

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Monaco, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Uruguay, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
