My name is jonathan. I am 23 years old and was born and raised in Israel, Haifa city.
I have a twin brother, and two little brothers - 8 years old sister and 6 month old brother.
Half of my family is from France , and the other side is from Romania.
I spent 5 years in the army as an officer in a combat unit.
And I am now traveling to know my self and to explor the world and the different cultures better.
I started to travel at Jan 2016 and my plan is to travel for a hole year in south and center America.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I experienced couchsurfing during my travel in Argentina - it was the best experience so far.
I fell that I'm learning more abut the different places I'm spending my time In from the eyes of the locals.
I want to know better the culture of different places around the world and I love hearing abut the life's of other and to spent time with people that are not the same as me.
In the end of my trip when I'll go back to Israel you would be more than welcome!

Intereses

My biggest passion is to art - I draw a lot and I paint the experiences that I am having (maybe I'll paint you ;) ).
I also love to do sports, hike, snowboarding, scobadiving and I am very open to learn some New stuff!
I love to dance and to explore New kinds of music.
I'm a happy person who loves to be in a good company.
Like I mentioned ,I have also served the Israeli army for 5 years in a combat unit as a commander -This experience taught me a lot about the situation in Israel, and the people who come from different places from me. I learned how to open and accept people who are different from me - in short, it gave me a different perspective on life. I would be more than happy to expand on that when we meet - this way I can get the pportunity to be an ambassador of the country from which I come. During my time in this amazing place called south America, I got to know other cultures and I got fascinated by that.
I want to know the places I am traveling in from the eyes of the locals like I said before.

I am now reading a book called "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" by Yuval Noah Harari which is giving me a new point of view abut life and it's meaning.
