About Me

Half Indonesian, Half White American traveler who has many passions and is always open to trying new things. I just graduated college, and for my last two years of college I worked around the world while finishing school online. Now, I have a YouTube channel teaching young people how to acquire freelance clients and work as a copywriter + technical writer for a B2B SAAS company. I grew up in rural Oregon, Jakarta, Indonesia, and all over rural middle America as a teenager.

The reason you should host me is because I love sharing life philosophies with people, am laid-back, love going on adventures, and being creative.

My life philosophy is simple. In short, it is to work enough so I can play hard while also finding ways to give back in return.

By the way, look me up on Instagram: jonathan.c.griffiths

I am now a fully sustainable digital nomad traveling around the world. Always open to meeting new people

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing to make new friends around the world, and to gain opportunities to get out of my comfort zone.

Right now, I am living around the world. I work online and go some random place and leave the day my visa expires.

Interests

Definitely into traveling. I love the outdoors, museums, reading, and culture. I also love learning languages. Also, open minded to trying new things other than hard drugs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked and worked around the world and United States for 6-10 month long periods per year for 3 years straight. Traveled on and off regularly for 4 years. Accumulated all the money to travel with my businesses and jobs.

Worked at a kitesurfing resort in Brazil.

Hitchhiked through Peru during the political protests in December of 2022 (walked into tear gas once)

Worked at a school teaching English in the Amazon rainforest.

Ran a business at the age of 18-19 delivering 10,000 USD + antiques for people around the USA.

Couchsurfed with the Kichiwa tribe in Ecuador.

Worked as a landscaper in rural Colombia.

Gave a speech to uni students in Semarang, Indonesia on the work culture in the United States and how to stand out in a highly competitive market.

Started my first online business at age 16 life coaching clients with issues. (Way more on this)

And more!
