I grew up in the outdoors and am reconnecting with nature. When I'm not with my pride and joy, who is my 5/yo son, I like to spend my free time exploring via hiking or on a paddle board. To relax I like to sip whiskey or beer, smoke a pipe, and read and or write. Hanging out at a pub with friends is cool, but I also don't mind some space for peaceful reflection. I work full time and have recently returned to school. Balancing life as a recent single father is helping me to be more intentional with my time, including the time I recreate and reconnect when not parenting. I am seeking adventure and possibly meet new friends along the way.

Folk-like music. I'm really not sure which genre I'm partial too. I like to wake up to U2 or the Decemberists. I appreciate the Beattles (of course) and Van Morrison. To relax I will listen to Alexi Murdoch, Bon Iver or Sigor Ros. For fun I like the Avett Brothers, Arcade Fire, Mumford, etc. (You get the idea)

I appreciate the rich learning which comes by meeting new people and traveling. Sharing personal life stories is a treasure shared throughout the history of humanity and is still alive today. I love hearing and sharing life experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hmmm...I like to help cook or make coffee...I guess it depends on what is needed in the moment. I am happy to help where needed, but am pretty independent, so I don't have any unrealistic expectations. I can do my own shopping, cooking, etc.
