About Me

Keeping it short: I'm an outdoorsy dude who happens to work in beer. I'm pretty sure I have the exact personality you'd expect me to have given that description.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not super active anymore but couchsurfed around the country back in 2015 and I'm always down to meet like minded people. I'm down with the community and have met a bunch of cool people using this.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Changes constantly, right now I'm getting into bluegrass, alt-country, jam bands and 90s/indie rap. Always wiling to listen to new things and have yet to find a genre that doesn't have some good stuff.

Movies: I don't watch many movies. If I do it's probably an exploitation, action or comedy movie. Also I'll watch anything Quentin Tarantino or The Coen Brothers put out, they have yet to let me down.

Books: I usually read historic or political books. If I'm reading a book I'm usually reading about a topic that interests me and not because a specific author wrote it. However if I had to pick, my favorite authors include: Hunter S. Thompson, Chris Hedges, Matt Taibbi and Ernest Hemingway.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gotten lost in the desert and lived to tell about it. I've also driven some pretty amazing roads and seen some awesome bands live. So more than one thing but I didn't feel like picking.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure what this means but. I can teach how to cook the few dishes I got down pat, basic car maintenance and how to brew beer. I'm willing to learn anything you want to teach, the one thing I know is that I don't know much.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share beer, food and a positive outlook. I'm new to Austin so I'm down to explore
