I am an engineer living and working outside of Boston. For the first twenty-four years of my life, I lived in New Jersey, about twenty minutes outside of New York City. At this point, I am eager to visit the major cities of the world! Although I enjoy visiting museums and parks, I know that there are so many great, unexpected experiences waiting around every corner.

When I travel, I want to learn about places by seeing the sights and meeting the people. Couchsurfing is especially appealing because of how genuine it is. Although I have not yet couch surfed, the profiles I've researched are full of guests raving about their outgoing hosts, who show them the real citizen's experience.

My tastes in music are varied and change with the weather and my workload. Although I enjoy fast-passed, major-scale sounds when the sun is shining and I am energetic, I am soothed by slow, minor-scale sounds when the sky is gray and I can lay down for a bit.
I've attended a few concerts: Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Rise Against, The Gaslight Anthem, CHVRCHES, Eminem, O|A|R, Streetlight Manifesto, Goo Goo Dolls, Coldplay, and Lifehouse. I would like to attend performances by: Foo Fighters, The Naked and Famous, Kings of Leon, and more.

I started jogging a few years ago. Since then, I have been able to encourage friends and family to join me. While we run, we pick up litter and deposit it in recycling/trash bins. Also, we use an application called Charity Miles, which donates money from sponsors to charities of our choice. This really represents how I live: in everything you do, try to make yourself a better person and try to make the world a better place!
