Hi! I'm Jonathan, and I love languages almost more than life itself. I grew up in Tennessee and Massachusetts and now I’m going to school in Utah. Every year I travel to Guatemala to help out at a clinic. I’ve lived mostly in the US but also India and Jordan. My plan is to continue doing lots of medical humanitarian work in Latin America and the Middle East.

I'm majoring in Middle Eastern Studies and I am really looking forward to meeting people from all over the world. I believe in the ultimate goodness of humanity and I want to be a part of dialogue for peace and solutions.

I follow American and world politics pretty avidly so we can have a good conversation about that. I'm a decent singer/ guitar player so I can entertain you with that if you ask nicely :)

I am at least conversational in all of the languages that I’ve listed above- Spanish, Portuguese (fluent), arabic, hindi, urdu, french (intermediate). I love having conversations in all of these languages and I can teach you some phrases if you’re interested.
