Fully Vaccinated!

I’m an American Traveler based in Amsterdam, exploring the world little by little. I grew up hiking and sailing boats, so naturally I love the outdoors. I am also a mathematics graduate from Vrije Universiteit.

Former Olympic hopeful for swimming and ex ice hockey player. I went to an arts highschool for theater and taught ballroom for after school program children. After that I joined WWOOF and started my writing journey there.

Recently got back into cycling and love every minute of it. I can teach you how to sail a boat and patch a tire if you ever find yourself in that situation.

I love learning new languages as it helps us all connect as human beings and allow us to see where our similarities are however different we may seem. I speak some Dutch with an A2 level. However, my favorite language that I’m learning right now is Czech. Naturally I’ve only been taught “hello”, jemka (I meant mnemka, you can google that one ;D), and a slur of words I accidentally discovered that I shouldn’t say!

I’m always game for a good story and will happily buy the first round of drinks if there’s a place to sleep at the end of it.
