Overview
About Me
Very interested in sustainable solutions. The real sustainable stuff, not to green-wash and maintain an economic growth for the few rich. I desire to make the world a better place for the lot, step by step. I wish to learn from different cultures and gain a better understanding of how people live and why it is not sustainable yet. However, I also like to enjoy my time without thinking too much on the problems of the world. I love hiking and exploring desolate beautiful places, but also wandering and biking in cities and feeling the vibe and energy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am an open minded guy, who likes to meet people from around the world. I am a globetrotter, but I do not like tourist traps. I feel that Couchsurfing is a great tool to get a more local experience. Also, I feel that if you can give an experience to somebody that you would want somebody to give you, there will be a feeling of satisfaction and gradually the world will be a more open space.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I bought a bike in Maui and rode all of the coast with my hammock and heavy backpack with lots of water and canned food and snorkel. Went all the way up the haleakala volcano with a bit of help and went for a 4 hour down hill dirt track ride.
I worked on a horse ranch / farm in Iceland where I milked cows standing in crap and got to ride a horse for the first time in my life and even gallop for 3 hours on one of their beautiful horses.
