Overview
About Me
So I am a dude who grew up in Hong Kong and studying uni in Australia (Sydney) and somehow found myself travelling in solitude in America having finished my exchange programme in the peachtree state Georgia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am travelling alone and couchsurfing is my best shot in making the most out of my trips in America seeing that I will just end up being a mute in hostel, let alone any other kind of accommodation. I have never done this before but my friend recommended this to me so I decided to give it a go.
Interests
Former football (aka soccer though I don't prefer the latter) fan but recently found my passion in it somehow faded a bit, common symptom seen in Arsenal fans as a way to cope with chronic disappointment.
Huge snooker fan if you know what it is (unless you are a Brit, in which case give me a fist pump). Play okay pool as well or basically any cuesport.
Do a bit of Salsa dance but constantly get outclassed by Latinos who just know how to do it perfectly, could build you some solid foundation on Salsa if given the chance and time.
Culture, politics and history are things I secretly hide inside my typical engineering student outlook but if you are comfortable talking about these stuff we will probably end up loving each other.

Music, Movies, and Books
Really picky on music as I am a strictly jazz person, like jazz and nothing more. Although, I do like songs from different genres that I have come to establish some sort of emotional attachment through listening to them in my favorite movies.
Huge Quentin Tarantino fan though I like other movies as well. Won't go as far as to call myself a movie buff but I have watched a handful of the classics. Once I dressed as Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver for Halloween and only one guy (who dressed as the Dude in Big Lebowski) recognised me....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I missed my flight to Miami because I booked my flight with the wrong name while I was tipsy, ended up taking buses overnight which cost me 5 times the time.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach any language and history I know. If you are into engineering I guess I can teach you how to do CAD drawings as well but I tend not to find that being too welcomed.
Learn about you, I want to know about your stories if you don't mind, it's people that I am interested in apart from my engineering textbooks.
Share basically anything as long as it doesn't sound too absurd, like a wife, which I don't have any. (Or is it really that ridiculous given that there are people who are really into that, interesting question...)
One thing that might intrigue you is how I cope with cultural shock and how I tried to blend in in the western world as an "oriental" person. Or you might not care at all yet it is very important to me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, drinks, stories and my somewhat cynical view about the world, which you might find interesting. Otherwise I can still crack some lame jokes if you don't mind having your day ruined by those.
