A lot of alt/punk/new wave-ish stuff from the 80's and 90's (Talking Heads/The Clash/Radiohead etc.), a lot of singer-songwriters such as Bob Dylan , Tom Waits, Ani DiFranco, Leonard Cohen etc.), and a lot of international artists I've been exposed to over the years like Ali Farka Toure, Silvio Rodriguez and Astor Piazzolla.

Books are mainly "The Classics", plus a smattering of sci-fi/fantasy like A Song of Ice and Fire and 3 Body Problem. Favorite book is probably The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy.

Movies and TV I'm all over the place, from Kurosawa to Kieslowsi, The Expanse to The Office.
