Kia ora. I grew up on Te Waipounamu, studied and worked in film in Wellington, then spent the next few years hitchhiking around the balkans, rode a bike from Ireland to the Sahara, then came back to Aotearoa.

I live in Taranaki now, working in organic/regenerative market gardening (so Dad was right, my film degree hasnt been all that useful) - I'm passionate about growing food in a climate and socially positive way. And compost.

Outside of that I still have a deep love for the arts.

I'm travelling around Te Waipounamu with my partner, Suzy, for a couple of weeks, while I recover from a surgery, and it would be great to connect with a few couchsurfing kiwis.
