Before I started university I did a gap year where I traveled to 13 countries in 8 months through a program where we learned about Jewish culture and history in those countries. It truly was one of the most amazing, enlightening, spiritual moments of my life. I'd love to discuss the places I've been and things I've seen with anyone who's willing to listen.

As a person who does a lot of stand-up and comedic writing, I'm always looking to find and share new stories that interest me and make me laugh. One of the reasons Couchsurfing appeals to me is because it provides the perfect opportunity to meet new people and hear their experiences and learn from them. While I have technical skills I could provide to hosts, I think the thing I'd be most excited to give is a listening ear and stories of my own.

I'm currently studying to be a film editor, as well as actively pursuing the comedy scene in Chicago. I'd love to share the things I've learned through my travels, classes, and experiences with my host, and hopefully find a way to create and discover art together. I'm extremely fascinated by the infinite number of ways one can create art, and I am excited to be able to explore that idea with my future Couchsurfing hosts.
