About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing back in college because I started to notice that travelers have a different way about them. At the time I wasn't able to host guests, but it was extremely rewarding being around driven people, exploring the world around them.
Now I'm doing a lot of my own traveling and find that it's so much easier to get to know a new place when there's someone who knows the ins and outs. I'm here looking for hosts and friends to explore new cities, hike and go out.
Interests
I'm a huge language fanatic. I love studying and learning languages.
I spend my time away in the woods and up in the mountains. I like taking my friends out on trips to the Appalachian mountains.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That one solo hike in the Andes when I found my way to the top of the 4800m mountain, Apu Pachatusan. Along the way I met friendly shepherds who spoke a mix of Quechua and Castilian and I got the worst sunburn of my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
By profession I teach English. I'd love to give that gift to my hosts and guests.
I have a general fascination with languages and would appreciate any lessons or interesting facts that a friend could share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As an English teacher, I love teaching my language and helping others gain confidence in communicating in English. If you want the opportunity to practice your English, I'm a professional!
