Hello, my name is Jonathan. I am based in Colorado, USA but spend the majority of my time abroad. I work for an independent school and lead 3 month international wilderness trips. I've lived around the world and have a special place in my heart for West Africa. I am passionate about exploring and learning about new languages and cultures. I feel most at home in the mountains, but love to visit big cities. I am always looking for opportunities to better understand the world around me.

I love most music. I grew up in a musical family (mother is a flutist) and so have always been curious to hear and learn about new music.

I read a lot, I enjoy classical fiction, spy novels, development focused non-fiction, and I like reading Maigret novels in French.

I don't watch a lot of movies.
