Hi, I'm Jonathan and very new to Couchsurfing.
I'm a freelance Chef and I love to travel and taste everyone's amazing food - I just love good in general.
I'm quite an active person and I love all kinds of sports.
As an Austrian, my absolute favorite is Snowboarding, which I've been doing almost my whole life.
Other sports I love to do are climbing/bouldering, surfing and (beach)volleyball (I'm not good at it though).
I also do Yoga and love to meditate, especially in nature.
I guess I'm both an extrovert and an introvert, because I love company but I also genuinely enjoy being alone
I am easy to talk to and very communicative. I love a good story.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting new people, I am very open minded and love to explore new things.
I like to travel on my own and don't mind being alone, however, I feel that it's time to try something new and this might just be it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, apart from non-fiction especially fantasy and manga.
I have listened to a wide variety of music in my life (from heavy electronic music like dnb, tekno, hc etc. to classical music, everything from the 50s to modern, from rock, jazz and pop to really out there stuff like mongolian throatsinging - i just love any good music), but recently, I prefer more chilled tunes most of the time. My feel good comfort music is instrumental, j-pop or mellow lofi.
I have kind of a thing for exotic musical instruments.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a trained Chef and work currently as a traveling freelance Chef - so I guess food is always a plus.
I'm also training in Shiatsu Massage, which is absolutely amazing, but I just started out, so don't expect wonders.
I know everyone thinks so of themselves, but I'd say I'm a generally interesting person and a good listener. I'm also very considerate.
