About Me

I have been traveling regularly for the last 4 years, it's made me who I am and has though me alot about life and the world.
It's thought me to cook and clean, look after myself and be responsible for my actions.
The experiences I have had and the people I have meet since travelling at the age of 18 has become a solid foundation my of life.

I am mostly doing volunteering when travelling as I want new things to learn and use my hands and mind. Aswell I find the slower I go the better the connection with local communities is, I'm always trying to get a deeper understanding of cultures and I enjoy deep chats with people about there country and its lifestyle.

In-between travelling I went to a welding school and have worked with metal and building, more recently I became a kayaking instructor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't been on couch surfing before as I tend to travel without a plan and can't say where I will be and when, but I am changing my travelling style for a more organized approach. I have always been staying in locals homes who have been so kind to invite me from meeting at parties or hitchhiking or even from friends of friends, everything time has been interesting and different.

Interests

Travelling has made me become interested in a lot of things like cooking, languages, historical, cultures, geopolitics and ways of travel i.e bicycle touring & hitchhiking

  • running
  • cycling
  • hiking
  • swimming

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music that has a nostalgic or wanderlust feel to it. I like books that I can learn something that I otherwise wouldn't learn from fiction or nonfiction alike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting people my own age when I was 18 and travelling, from completely different cultures and life situations is something I will always feel has left a impression on me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share with you the bit of spanish I have learn from a year in South America, I can belay you if your a rock climber or accompany you if you have ambitious hiking goals as I have education in mountain first aid and navigation

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could maybe be the first Irish person you host 😁, otherwise i could pay for us to rent bicycles so we can explore your city, town or community. Or I could cook for you falafel, indian lentil curry or Mexican refried bean.

Countries I’ve Visited
