Interests

At the moment I spend most of my time hanging out with my friends, trying out new restaurants and coffee shops, and generally exploring the city. I've started doing a pottery class. I want to do yoga too and maybe kickboxing. I often play card games (Werewolf, Exploding Kittens, etc). At the weekends, I often go travelling or get up to various activites (bowling, fishing, karaoke, etc).

I like to read history books. I love Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. I've read many self-improvement books. I love two Mangas: Berserk and Uzumaki.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Early on during my stay in Vietnam, some of the students took me on a trip to the coast. We rode there on scooters then took a ferry across to a small fishing village where we bought fresh seafood. Next, we hired a fishing boat, drove it out into the middle of nowhere and some of us went for a swim while the others cooked lunch on the boat, boiling the seafood in beer. After that, we drove to a beach and ate more seafood. At the end of the day, we rode back into the city at sunset.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some basic yoga, how to cook pancakes and how to write a screenplay that won't sell. I'm currently learning Vietnamese (Jon đang học tiếng Việt). I've got a language teacher, some flashcards and Duolingo. I will share my time, my ear (if you want to talk), my thoughts (if you want to listen) and my chocolate koala biscuits.
