I am currently in a very intense period of starting a new company and despite how much I love hosting people, sadly I don't have time for it at all right now. I hope to find time soon to host en get to know new people and cultures again!

ABOUT ME:
People describe me as a very kind and nice person who cares a lot about others. I'm always up for a drink and a laugh.
I have a very positive attitude and I am very easy going and used to juggling a lot of challenges at the same time. Making the best out of nothing is what I do for a living too, so literally anything is fine when hosting me.

I am first aid certified and working on a system to connect such volunteers to incidents with cardiac arrests to improve survival chances. Did you know that the survival rate is only 10% if people need to wait for an ambulance to arrive? Every extra person that could be saved would be a success!
I am a certified masseur, so in my spare time I like to help friends to relieve stress with a relaxing massage.
I am a co-founder of a charity to fight child labour and provide education in India, without any commission or salaries, so every donation is used for its true purpose. That means: 1 euro that's donated here will be 1 euro that will end up in the hand of child to build a sustainable future. We care about the next 10 years and more, not just about how today will work out.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I would like to meet new people, which could accidentally even lead to new potential business partners. While hosting I would gladly show you around in Ghent. I prefer staying over at people's houses instead of a hotel because we can share experiences more easily and it gives a better insight of the local culture and how people spend their daily lives. Even though it seems as if all Western European countries are similar there's still a lot of differences in how people live their lives and manage their time.
Now that I have my own house in Ghent I'd be happy to share it with anyone who needs a bed while visiting this majestic city.

Before Couchsurfing I have been a guest at both couples houses and co-housing for both short and longer periods and everyone has always been very happy to have me.
